About my practice

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to providing high-quality mental health therapy for adults seeking real, lasting change. I offer individualized therapy through an integrative, evidence-based approach designed to support both clarity and healing. I work closely with you to understand your needs, develop a personalized growth plan, and walk with you through the process with compassion, honesty, and skill.

I use evidence-based approaches to help you connect with what matters most to you and help you move toward a more meaningful, fulfilling life. To me, meaningful living is about reconnecting with what makes you feel most alive: your values, your desires, and your capacity to grow.

I offer in-person and online sessions, depending on preference and accessibility. My goal is to create a grounded and supportive space where you feel understood, gently challenged, and empowered to move forward toward a life that feels vibrant, aligned, and meaningful.

My approach

My approach to therapy is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based model that helps you build a more flexible and compassionate relationship with your inner world. ACT emphasizes learning to notice thoughts and emotions without becoming overwhelmed or controlled by them, while also identifying the values that matter most to you. Through mindfulness, skill-building, and committed action, we work toward increasing psychological flexibility so you can move through life with greater presence and alignment with what truly matters to you.

Here is how it works:

Life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when you’re carrying stress, loss, or constant pressure. It’s easy to get stuck in patterns of overthinking, self-criticism, or feeling disconnected from what matters most to you.

ACT offers a way to relate differently to these experiences. Rather than trying to get rid of difficult thoughts or emotions, ACT helps you make space for them so they no longer run the show. Through mindfulness and values-based action, you can begin to respond to life with more flexibility, intention, and self-compassion.

In this work, therapy becomes a supportive space to explore what matters to you. We’ll work on building skills that keep you grounded and engaged, even during challenging moments. The focus shifts from “fixing” yourself to learning how to show up more fully for your life.

Working with an ACT therapist means having guidance as you step out of patterns of avoidance and move toward a life that feels more aligned with your values.

Here’s what we’ll do together:

In our work together, we’ll create a space where you can show up as you are, without judgment.

We’ll practice relating to difficult thoughts and emotions in a new way, so they have less control over your choices. You’ll clarify what truly matters to you and begin taking small, meaningful steps in that direction.

Along the way, you’ll build skills to stay present, respond to challenges with greater awareness, and treat yourself with more compassion. Over time, this can lead to greater clarity, steadiness, and confidence in how you move through your life.

As therapy becomes part of your routine, you may notice subtle but meaningful shifts in how you handle stress, relate to others, and make decisions. These changes tend to ripple outward, helping you live with more intention, connection, and fulfillment.

If you’re ready to take the first step, I invite you to reach out and schedule a consultation.

Fees and Insurance

Individual therapy

I believe therapy should be guided by your needs, not insurance limitations. For this reason, I am not a participating provider with any insurance. As a courtesy, we will file out-of-network claims on your behalf, allowing you to focus on your therapy.

I am out-of-network certified with Tricare, and many clients with various plans are able to use their out-of-network benefits for partial reimbursement.

Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed, and coverage varies by insurance provider and individual plan. Clients are encouraged to contact their insurance company directly to understand their out-of-network mental health benefits.

Please note that I am not a Medicaid or Medicare provider, and these plans do not reimburse for my services.

If you have questions about out-of-network benefits or how reimbursement works, I’m happy to walk you through the process.
